It is published four times a year for the UAW-Chrysler National Training Center (NTC), an enterprise jointly run by a partnership of the United Auto Workers (UAW) and Chrysler. Supplementing the quarterly newsletter are two special magazine issues: the Veterans Day Special Issue, profiling workers and family members who have served in the military, and the Special Racing Issue, focusing on Dodge Racing’s Nextel Cup action. The NTC’s mission is to provide workers with the tools they need to keep pace with technological change and the demands of a dynamic global marketplace. To that end, the NTC provides a wide range of training opportunities that not only enhance job skills but also empower UAW-represented workers to fully participate in workplace democracy. The NTC's joint training initiative has fostered innovation and sustained Chrysler's quality revolution. The NTC's mission doesn't stop with education. It extends to improving quality of life for workers, retirees and their families. Tomorrow articles, therefore, regularly speak to this mission with topics such as money management, travel with children, health and fitness. All articles in Tomorrow are assigned following story conferences between the NTC and The Pohly Company. A free sample copy is available upon request.
